INSPIRATION
My mandala collection began with inspiration from the traditional motifs used to decorate Buddhist temples, particularly in Sri Lankan temples during my time living there. My starting point was lots of drawing and variations of the combinations and designs and sizes. I then handmade my favourites using individual pieces of wire, soldering every joint. Once I settle on a design I have a master made that I can make multiples of.
