Jewellery making pliers

Perfect for basic jewellery repairs and getting started on your making adventure.  Suitable for use with my DIY Pearl Bracelet kit.

These are jewellers pliers I source from America.  They are better quality than all the pliers I have seen in craft stores.  Quality but affordable pliers are key to your jewellery making.  Badly made pliers will be ineffective to work with and slip easily.  The pliers are small and easier to hold in small hands.

The pliers are different from the ones shown, until I have a chance to take new pictures.

There are three types of pliers in this listing:

Flat chain nose pliers

These are for holding things and essential for opening and closing jump rings.  Ideally you need two pairs to hold items either side.  You can you a rougher workshop pair you may have at home already for the second pair.  You can also use the round nose pliers but it is much more difficult to hold the piece and likely to mark it or slip.

Round nose pliers

These are for forming the loops when making jewellery.

Cutters

For cutting metal wires.  Don't use them to cut steel or you will damage them.  Often you may have these in your home already, just not as fine.  So you can get by without.
